Alexandre Cadosch
Chairman of the Board
Alexandre Cadosch chairs Eurofin Capital's Board of Directors. Mr. Cadosch is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Eurofin Group, which was founded in December 1999. From July 1990 to December 1999, Mr. Cadosch was Vice President of Gestar S.A., a Swiss-based affiliate of the Espirito Santo Group. Before that, Mr. Cadosch headed the currencies and precious metals options administrative desk at Tradition Financial Services in Lausanne. Mr. Cadosch has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Industry, during which he developed his expertise in Private Equity and institutional asset management. In addition to activities within the Eurofin Group, Mr. Cadosch serves as a Director on the board of several funds and financial companies. Mr. Cadosch is a graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne and holds a Degree in hospitality management.
Vincent Kuhn
Chief Executive Officer & COO Director
Vincent Kuhn joined the Eurofin Group in 2007 and was Managing Partner of Eurofin Capital (then called Eurogestion & Partners). He was previously Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Bryan Garnier Asset Management Ltd., a London and Paris based asset management company. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Kuhn was International Director of Equalt Alternative Asset Management, the hedge fund specialist affiliate of Crédit Agricole, and led the firm’s global business development. He had similar responsibilities between 1998 and 2002 at BAREP Asset Management (Société Générale’s alternative asset management unit), where he also developed the firm’s Shari'ah-compliant investment activities. Mr. Kuhn has held executive positions in the financial and investment industry since 1986, both in Europe and in the United States. He has been a member of various committees for the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the industry’s leading association. He holds a Masters Degree in Business and Tax Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris and is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Sciences, with a specialisation in Business Administration.
James Edwards
Chief Investment Officer Director
James Edwards has been the company’s Chief Investment Officer since 2008. He brings over 20 years of investment experience at the highest level, both as an investment manager and as an asset allocator in both the traditional and the alternative investment worlds. Prior to joining the Eurofin Group, Mr. Edwards was Executive Director of UBS Wealth Management Hedge Fund Advisory business and Member of the firm's UK Investment Committee. Prior to that, James was CIO of Mizuho Investment Management in London, a leveraged loan investment company and CIO of BAREP Asset Management, Société Générale Paris-based alternative investment subsidiary. Whilst at BAREP, Mr. Edwards launched and managed a number of credit and emerging market hedge funds, as well as an emerging market CDO. James began his investment career as a fixed income Portfolio Manager at Rupert Loewenstein, a high net worth specialist manager. Earlier, he was Portfolio Manager at Crédit Suisse Asset Management within the multi-currency fixed income team and at F&C Emerging Markets, where he ran fixed income portfolios.
Michel Creton
Chief Financial Officer Director
Michel Creton joined the Eurofin Group in 2004 as Senior Manager of Eurofin Services S.A., an affiliated company specialised in financial planning, accountancy and trust services. In addition to his role as Eurofin Capital's CFO, Mr. Creton heads the firm's Private Equity activities. With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, Michel is intimately familiar with international company management, investment services (including investment vehicles and tax optimisation structures), with an emphasis on regulatory and governance frameworks. Prior to joining the Eurofin Group, Mr. Creton was Vice President of Forvest Trust S.A., a Geneva-based International financial services company specialised in asset management for private clients, where he headed the Trust and Corporate Advisory Services department. He serves as a Director on the boards of several funds and financial companies. Mr. Creton is a graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne and holds a Degree in hospitality management.
Laurent Chevallier
Head of Research & Portfolio Management
Laurent Chevallier, 36, leads Eurofin Capital's Research & Portfolio Management team in Geneva. Mr. Chevallier was previously Executive Director and Head of Manager Selection & Investments at Unigestion in Geneva, where he managed a $3.5 B hedge fund portfolio with the 12-person analysis and research team he built and led. This team has consistently brought Unigestion's fund performance into top decile rankings. Laurent was Director of Research and Head of Allocation for Weston Capital in New York, CIO & Risk Manager at BIM in Geneva, and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Quest Partners/Oram Advisors in New York. He started his career as a futures Trader in New York and has extensive experience in systematic and arbitrage strategies.
Andrew Holroyd
Legal Counsel
Andrew Holroyd, an English Solicitor, is in charge of the firm’s legal, regulatory and compliance activities. Mr. Holroyd joined the Eurofin Group as Legal Counsel in 2006. Prior to this, Mr. Holroyd was a Financial Lawyer for Société Générale’s Corporate and Investment Banking in Paris where, as a debt specialist, he liaised between financial engineers, front office and external legal advisors for the issuance documentation of CDO, credit and interest-linked bond issues listed on various European exchanges. In addition, Mr. Holroyd was part of of Société Générale’s legal team overseeing the issuance of various financial instruments under the bank’s EMTN programme. Prior to Société Générale, Mr. Holroyd worked in both Paris and London for Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where he focused on the financial aspects of bond issues, debt restructuring, bank financing and M&A activities. Mr. Holroyd holds an LL.B in English and European Laws from the University of Essex and undertook the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London.
Valérie Cholvy
Head of Middle Office Deputy Director
Valérie Cholvy head Eurofin Capital’s global Middle Office operations and is a Deputy Director of the firm. Additionally, Mrs. Cholvy is in charge of the management of client assets, liquidity management, trading execution on Iberian markets and FX hedging. She joined the Eurofin Group in 2000 as a fund accounting specialist. From 1996 to 2000, she was an accountant in France. In addition to her extensive accounting experience, Mrs. Cholvy brings Eurofin Capital an extensive knowledge of investment operations. Mrs. Cholvy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a major in Financial Accounting.
Bruno Ramos
Private Equity Project Manager
Bruno Ramos is part of Eurofin Capital’s Private Equity Team and reports to Michel Creton. He joined the Eurofin Group in 2007 and has been operationally involved in the investments of the company's Private Equity Funds. Mr. Ramos is in charge of third party coordination within the Eurofin Group, particularly with Portuguese investors. Mr. Ramos holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Universidade da Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal.
Dmitry Chura
Investment Analyst
Dmitry Chura joined Eurofin Capital in 2007 and handles investment research in alternative investments, with a particular focus on Tactical and Long/Short strategies. A Russian citizen, Mr. Chura has worked in finance and client relations in the hospitality industry, mostly in the United States. Mr. Chura graduated from the European University, Switzerland, where he earned an MBA in Finance and Banking, and is a Graduate of the Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland (BBA in Hospitality and Restaurant Management).
Florence Lestiboudois
Middle Office Officer
Florence Lestiboudois has worked in the Eurofin Group since 2005. A financial derivatives specialist, Mrs. Lestiboudois focuses on liquidity management for the firm's institutional clients and funds. Florence has been a Middle Office specialist since 1996, first at Dresdner bank in Paris, where she handled operations for the Derivatives desk, then between 1998 and 2000 at Transoptions S.A in Lausanne, again on financial derivatives. Florence is a graduate of the Institut Supérieur des Affaires et du Management, where she obtained a Masters in Business Administration in 1996.
Glenn Zeng
Quantitative Research
Glenn Zeng is responsible for quantitative research and analysis at Eurofin Capital. Glenn contributes both analytical and software development skills to the quantitative department, including data integration and risk analysis/control. Previously, Mr. Zeng was Quantitative & Technical Officer for Bryan Garnier Asset Management in Paris, where he was in charge of the development of a quantitative trading model for a L/S Equity Hedge Fund, including back testing, stress testing, pair trading, option evaluation, order execution, risk managemen and hedging. Glenn holds an MBA in Quantitative Finance from the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires in Lille, France and a Bachelor's degree from the Fuzhou University in China.
Ying Ying
Research & Support
With an extensive engineering background, Mrs. Ying is part of Eurofin Capital’s Quantitative Research and Analysis team. She works on risk and trading models as well as on order execution. She perform day-to-day control on trading (Front to Back and trade verification). Additionally, Ying handles the coordination between Eurofin Capital’s Investment and Middle Office teams. Ying holds a M.Sc. degree in LAMORA (Lasers, Molecule, Radiation, Atmosphere) from the University of Lille, France, a B.Sc. degree in Optoelectronics from the Beijing University of Science and Technology in China and a Business Administration degree from the Erasmus Institute in Bordeaux, France.
